Question 2

What does KuSon block?

Accepted Answer

With "Lock all gambling" KuSon blocks gambling sites and their mirror sites in every browser, gambling apps and installing new gambling apps. Searching for gambling sites is blocked too. Our gambling list is updated regularly, and the app downloads it automatically.

Question 3

Can I unlock early?

Accepted Answer

You can't cancel a lock yourself. If you really need to, send a request from Settings in the app. Our team reviews it, and if it is approved, the lock opens 24 hours later. You can withdraw the request at any time during this wait.

Question 4

A gambling site or app isn't blocked. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Open Settings in the app and tap "Report a site or app that isn't blocked". We check every report and add confirmed gambling sites and apps to the list for everyone.

Question 5

Can KuSon see what I do on my phone?

Accepted Answer

No. KuSon checks the apps you open and the addresses and page titles of the sites you visit only on your phone, to decide what to block. It doesn't collect, store or send your apps, sites or anything you type. Our server only keeps what your account needs, such as your device code and your active locks.

Question 6

Why does KuSon need the Accessibility service on Android?

Accepted Answer

Android only lets an app see which app is open and which address a browser shows through the Accessibility service. KuSon uses it for blocking and nothing else. Before you turn it on, the app explains this and asks for your consent.

Question 7

How does KuSon work on iPhone?

Accepted Answer

On iPhone KuSon uses Apple's Screen Time to hide gambling apps and stop apps from being deleted during a lock, and a site filter to block gambling sites. For extra strength, you can ask someone you trust to set your Screen Time passcode.

Question 8

Can I delete KuSon?

Accepted Answer

On Android, uninstall protection stops KuSon from being removed while you're protected. On iPhone, apps can't be deleted while a lock is active. This is what keeps your protection in place on a hard day.

Question 9

How do I remove KuSon completely?

Accepted Answer

If no lock is active, turn off uninstall protection in KuSon's setup (Android) and delete the app like any other. If a lock is active, first send an early unlock request in Settings; once it is approved and the 24-hour wait is over, you can remove the app. If you want to leave KuSon entirely, write to us with your device code and we can release your device after review. Uninstalling doesn't cancel your subscription, so cancel it in Google Play or the App Store too.

Question 10

How much does KuSon cost?

Accepted Answer

You start with 3 days free. Then you choose a monthly or yearly plan; see the prices on the Pricing page. Your app store shows the amount in your currency. You can cancel anytime in Google Play or the App Store.

Question 11

What happens if my subscription ends?

Accepted Answer

Protection stops and gambling is no longer blocked. The app shows this clearly on the home screen, so you can subscribe again and stay protected.

Question 12

I reinstalled the app. Are my locks gone?

Accepted Answer

No. When you install KuSon again on the same phone, your active locks and your clean-day counter come back automatically.

Question 13

Does KuSon work on computers?

Accepted Answer

No. KuSon protects Android phones and iPhones.

Question 14

Is KuSon a treatment for gambling addiction?

Accepted Answer

No. KuSon is a tool that removes easy access to gambling. It works best together with support from people you trust or a professional. You can find free help lines in your country on our Support page.
